How to create filters?

There are two ways to manage filters on eBloom


When creating users with an excel upload


  1. Go to Settings (⚙️ at the top right of your screen, in the top menu bar) > Users.

  1. Click on “…” > “ Users update” at the top left of the box.

  1. Click on the purple button “Download template”. An Excel document, called “ebloom_users_template.xlsx” is automatically downloaded to your computer and contains the list of your current users.

  1. Open the excel document, and add the names of the filters you want to create in place of the column names "//Filter Name". One column per filter, as many filters as you want. Example : Age, Location.

  1. For each user (line), assign a value from this filter. Example: 25-30 years, 30-35 years, or Brussels, Namur, Antwerp. All users must have a value for all created filters, and there must be at least 5 users per filter value. Save.

  1. Return to eBloom, click on “Choose a file” and select the excel document. Click on “Save”.

  1. Check that all information is correct and complete, and then click on "Update users".


Using the filter management page

  1. Go to Filter page
  2. You can create new filters using the create button on the top right corner of the box.
  3. Each filters must be associated to a category. For exemple, the filter Women would be associated to the category Gender.
  4. When clicking on a filter, you can add or remove users associated to this filter. You also can update the filter association through the users page selecting a specific user to update.


You can then analyze your results by filters in the "Score table" graph of your dashboard.
